Direct Drive

How I can convert old records to mp3 using an old record player (a dual direct drive since 1980)?
I have one year old desktop HP-one with Vista. Thank you.
The type of equipment they have is not really the issue, it's on the turntable. If the dish is something like a connector headphone jack on it, then you probably could get an audio cable (the one where at both ends, it looks like the end of the headphones, so you can connect a end into the headphone jack of the turntable and the other end into the team line-if there is a microphone or jack). You can record a wave editor, for example. You can find free online. Simplest form, unless these are scarce or mixtures of these, is just finding the online music again using something free, as Limewire or torrents, or pay a little for a site like mp3skyline (which has converted a bunch of records in it).
