American Audio

American Audio
I get upper class American accent of the 1930s, is there any audio available older books?

I would listen books instead of TV programs or movies because I find them rather dull. Except for I Love Lucy, but I see that. Currently I have an accent U.S. East Coast.

The first compact audiocassette not developed until 1958 and there was no tape technology commercially viable until the mid- 60, even a lot – playing records did not gain popularity until 1948, so there was no such thing as an audio book in the 1930s. The closest thing to an audiobook you would be able to find old radio plays from that period of time. Cheers.
